Patrizia D'Addario, the prostitute who claims to have slept with Silvio Berlusconi,
has told in her book of her amazement at the 73-year-old Italian prime minister's stamina.
In an explosive and sometimes explict kiss-and-tell book, which went on sale in Italy on Tuesday,
she gives her first detailed account of the night she claims to have spent with Mr Berlusconi.

She alleges he called her "treasure" and "baby" and she spent all night with him,
only leaving his Rome residence at 8am the next morning.

She went public with her story in July but has now claimed police and prosecutors only believed
her account when she produced tape recordings of conversations she says she had
with Mr Berlusconi in his bedroom.
She decided to reveal her alleged night of passion with the media mogul because she said he failed
to deliver on promises he had made to help her with the building of a hotel in her hometown of Bari,
on Italy's Adriatic coast.

"I gave him my body, but he [gave me] nothing," she writes in the 240-page book,

Miss D'Addario, 42, claims she was invited to two candle-lit dinners at Mr Berlusconi's imposing mansion
in central Rome, Palazzo Grazioli, at which the premier assumed the role of a "sultan" to a "harem"
of gorgeous young women.

The first was on Oct 16, 2008, when he allegedly asked her to stay the night but she declined,
and the second was a month later, on Nov 4, when she claims she agreed to go to bed with him.
She ridiculed Mr Berlusconi's claim on national television that the dinners,
where dozens of glamorous starlets and showgirls drank Champagne and went home
with jewel-encrusted butterfly brooches, were party political gatherings.

"First of all, such a political club would have to consist only of young, beautiful women
dressed only in skin-tight black dresses, because they were the only sort of person I saw.
"Secondly, the party members let themselves be caressed, kissed and touched
in an unequivocal manner by their boss? If this is how politics is now conducted, I'm well qualified."

Miss D'Addario was taken aback by the prime minister's stamina, given that he has had prostate cancer.
"He didn't appear a bit tired, he kissed me again and again and again," she claimed.
Mr Berlusconi has said he cannot recall Miss D'Addario and that he has never paid for sex,
but he has also acknowledged that he loves beautiful women and is "no saint". .

Anderson's coming clean to sons Brandon, 12, and Dylan, 11, about the tape was sparked by,

She admits to taking cocaine, and claims she has stopped drinking because it made her "crazy."

"I haven't had a drink in a month, I don't drink," she says.
"Champagne - sometimes I'll drink it and I'll get a little crazy, doing back flips and, you know,
wrestling people on the floor. But I'm taking a break right now."

Anderson also admits to falling on hard times after spending $5 million on a dream home in Malibu
before running out of money.

The Associated Press: What was the appeal for you in doing "MTV Unplugged"?

The video for Rihanna's "Russian Roulette" is just as eerie as the song itself.
In a preview that aired on German TV and stills that appeared on the fan sites,
the singer is seen drowning, being shot at and imprisoned.
Of course, there are scenes of her sitting at a table with a man seeing who can win the deadly game.

Director Anthony Mandler — who also helmed the singer's "Wait Your Turn" clip —
said the video is the perfect embodiment of the haunting ballad.

"I think that with this song and the meaning of this song and how loaded it all is, no pun intended,
how much imagery and perhaps symbolism that is loaded in this song, the only way to do it was to do something
that was visually challenging,"
he told MTV News about the video, which premieres Friday (November 13) on "20/20."

Mandler thought of the video as a metaphor for Rihanna's very public life in the gossip pages,
as opposed to a direct comment on her February assault by then-boyfriend Chris Brown.

Pratt was busted at 3:45 a.m. in Hollywood and remained in police custody.
She was booked early Sunday morning, Pacific time, and bail was set at $5000.

in their tracks, and a fight broke out on the street after some of the gawkers snapped photos
and others apparently objected.
None of the participants in the fight, which erupted while Pratt was being handcuffed, were taken into custody.

Easton police said a city woman faces prostitution charges
after she was caught having sexual contact with a man
in a church parking lot Saturday night.

Pamela Firman, 41, of 1441 Butler St., was arraigned last night
on charges of open lewdness and prostitution.
She's in Northampton County Prison under $25,000 bail.

At 7:30 p.m., Easton police responded to a 911 call
from someone saying a couple was having sex in the backseat of a car
parked on Lehigh Street. Police spotted the car and said it was parked
in a church lot, but did not identify the church.
Police said both Firman and the man inside the car,
only identified as Robert Piazza, both had their pants undone.

Firman told police the man was paying her for sex.

Lady Gaga has announced the details of a solo tour.

Described by Gaga as "the first-ever 'pop electro opera,'" "The Monster Ball" tour
kicks off November 27 in Montreal, Canada, and will hit 16 North American cities
before ending with a two-night stand January 20-21 at New York's Radio City Music Hall.

The pop singer also revealed that "The Fame Monster," an enhanced re-release of her debut album,
will be released November 23. It will feature a second disc with eight new songs, including "Bad Romance,"
which Gaga premiered at the Alexander McQueen show during Paris Fashion Week.

"A message to all my little monsters: 'The Fame Monster' will come out four days before the first live show,"
Gaga said in a statement.
"You have exactly 96 hours to learn all of the lyrics so you can sing along. Dress accordingly."

Shauna Sand sex tape: fighting for future

Shauna Sand is trying to block the release of a hardcore sex tape
she made but says wasn't supposed to be released.

The former Playboy model admitted that the video does exist and that
Vivid Entertainment, which acquired the video via a third party,
has no right to distribute it.
She said she would fight the Oct. 19 release of the DVD.
Vivid.com, however, has already launched a page with clips of Sand
and an unidentified man in action.

The 38-year-old mother of three also said she has "in fact" made "several sex tapes"
over the years.

And what about those kids?
Worried that her ex-husband and father of her girls, Lorenzo Lamas,
would be furious over her raunchy video romp, Sand had to do some damage control.
She calmed Lamas down and made him sign a piece of paper that read:

"I, Lorenzo Lamas, will not seek custody of my minor children with Shauna Sand.
Even in the event of a release of a sex tape with her and her boyfriend.".

And now Shayne Lamas, Sand's former step-daughter, is slamming the blond

after being caught with a 16-year-old student in a park
was arrested Friday night, accused of having sex with the boy.

Emily Elizabeth Housley, who turns 29, was arrested
at her mother’s Saginaw home shortly before 8:30 p.m., police said.

Housley, who is married and has two children, was being booked
into jail Friday night, police said. She faces a charge of sexual assault of a child.
Housley, a math teacher, and her student had started flirting
and exchanging text messages early this year when he was still 15,
Detective T.L. Howard said. By April, after the boy had turned 16,
the relationship evolved into sexual encounters —
the first occurring inside Housley’s classroom after school hours, Howard said.

The sexual encounters continued —
at the school, in Housley’s car, at her mother’s home, and at Housley’s Saginaw home
when her husband and children were away, Howard said.
After school let out for the summer, he said, Housley met the teen
at his Fort Worth house while he was alone.

"She was going to a teacher conference that was near his house,
and she was going over there on her lunch breaks and having sex with him,"
Howard said.

The investigation began after a Fort Worth patrol officer happened upon Housley
and the teen sitting inside a parked car in Sycamore Park shortly before midnight June 30.
The teen initially gave the officer a false date of birth and stated that he was 18

Exit polling showed that women made up 80 percent of moviegoers, and 60 percent of the audience was aged between two and 17, Viane said.

Cyrus' previous big-screen outing, "Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert Tour," opened with $31 million last year, ending up with $65 million to become the biggest concert movie of all time.

While Rai was in New York to promote the film, she was accompanied

Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling brought a second French Legion of Honor award
into her family on Tuesday, decades after her great-grandfather received the honor
for battlefield courage during World War I.

President Nicolas Sarkozy bestowed the title of knight in the Legion of Honor on Rowling,
who used her acceptance speech to apologize for the quality of her French accent
and for having given one of the villains in her series a French name.

"I cannot say that I think that I truly deserve it, but the Legion of Honor
has a particular and personal meaning,"
she said in a ceremony in an ornate presidential palace ballroom.

One of her great-grandfathers, who was French, had received it in 1924
for his courage in the Battle of Verdun during the First World War, she said.

Rowling also thanked her readers in France "for not having held a grudge against me
for having given a French name to my evil character" in the series — Lord Voldemort.

"I can assure you that no anti-French feeling was at the origin of this choice,"
she said.
"As a Francophile, I have always been proud of my French blood.
But I needed a name that evokes both power and exoticism."

"Voldemort himself is 100-percent English,"
Rowling said in French, pleading with the audience that included young French teens
to forgive her accent. She noted that she had once taught French in Scotland.

Mariah Carey has taken a break from pop stardom to act in new movie "Push,"
but far from her lead role in semi-autobiographical "Glitter,"
Carey has opted for a supporting part in this often grim tale.

In fact, the real star of "Push," which debuted this past weekend at Sundance,
is an unknown actress from Harlem, Gabourney Sidibe, playing an obese
and overburdened 16-year-old named "Precious" Jones who is twice impregnated
by her father and is beaten by her mother.

Yet, she also has adults who look out for her, and one of those
is welfare case worker, Mrs. Weiss, played by Carey.

With her stringy hair and no nonsense attitude, Mrs. Weiss is far
from the glamorous role Carey took in 2001's "Glitter," which was loosely based
on her own rise to pop music stardom.

But that movie was panned by critics and earned only $5.3 million at global box offices.
Since then, Carey has starred in a few movies, but for the most part
they have been seen only on TV, DVD or outside the United States.

"Push," however, is based on a best-selling novel and directed by Lee Daniels
who produced "Monster's Ball," which earned Halle Berry a best actress Oscar.
So curiosity was running high at Sundance to see how Carey performed.

At least one early review was positive.
Show business paper Daily Variety called "Push," "courageous and uncompromising,"
and added that "among the many delightful surprises in the film is Mariah Carey,
who is pitch-perfect as a welfare counselor and serves
as this demi-tragedy's Greek chorus."

In "Push," Carey has chosen the small but pivotal role of a woman
who unravels Precious' monstrous home life of abuse and teenage motherhood.
"Mrs. Weiss is sort of the eyes of the audience, the people
who don't know anybody like this in their lives,"
Carey told reporters late Saturday.

"Yes it's her job ... but even someone who goes through that every day
and sees these horrific things, she hears something that changes her,"
Carey said about the range of emotions she must show as Mrs. Weiss.

Despite its dark material, the film had Sundance audiences laughing
at several comic scenes, revolving around surrealistic dreams Precious creates to escape.
In one, she sees herself and her mother transported into a Sophia Loren
movie playing on television, where her mom curses at her in Italian.

"Push" is based on a novel of the same name by New York writer Sapphire,
whose given name is Ramona Lofton. The book proved controversial
when it hit retail stories in 1996 because of its graphic description of incest,
but it also made it to the New York Times Bestseller list.

"I was just glued to this book when I read it in, I guess '98, and it stays with you,"
Carey said.

Carey is not the only Grammy-winning singer in the movie.
Rocker Lenny Kravitz plays a small role as a nurse's aide
who helps Precious deliver her second child.

That star power could help give the film wider release in the U.S. and internationally.
The filmmakers are still in talks with studios to find a distributor.

Scarlett Johansson: the sex symbol

Scarlett Johansson is relaxing, legs stretched out before her on a sofa in one of London’s most luxurious hotels, and pondering the strange phenomenon that is life as a modern-day sex symbol. Think Marilyn Monroe or Sophia Loren transported through time – the hour-glass figure and sprayed-on frocks – and you have some idea of the cinematic heritage of Ms J, a woman who, at just 24, has men young and old (including Woody Allen and just about every other director she’s worked with), praising her as a siren, a muse and a pin-up for our times. Women, too, can appreciate La Johansson. According to one glossy, she possesses the body that most admire.

“Oh yeah, that stuff,” she drawls in that unmistakable, husky voice, raising a pencil-thin eyebrow. “Well, I never expected that kind of thing, to be honest. I think that comes with my age, the whole sex-symbol thing. I’ll grow out of that. It’s a phase. And people want to turn you into merchandise in some way, don’t they?”

If it’s an image that she hasn’t particularly courted, it’s also one that she’s not afraid to exploit. In one of her two new films about to be released in the UK, The Spirit, a visually striking adaptation of a comic book, she’s a femme fatale with the kind of plunging neckline that will ensure teenage boys flock to the multiplexes in their droves, while their girlfriends weigh up the merits of a Wonderbra. “I was inspired by those actresses from the Forties and Fifties, and all that movie-star glamour… you know, that Golden Age of Hollywood. I like that look,” she admits.

Today, her look is more Pippi-Longstocking-meets-Gap: her hair is piled up in plaits, and she’s wearing blue jeans, white and green trainers and a grey slip over a matching cardigan (which is covering a recently acquired tattoo, of a sunrise, on her right forearm). In person, she’s friendly, bright, articulate and supremely composed. If anything, she appears even younger than she is. Indeed, the casually dressed, tiny (she’s 5ft 4in) woman who walked past me in the corridor – followed by a minder twice her size – a few minutes earlier didn’t attract so much as a second glance.

But put Johansson in front of a camera and you see genuine screen presence. She commands the eye in a way that few of her contemporaries do – she was luminous in Girl With a Pearl Earring (playing the maid who inspires Vermeer to his greatest work), and drop-dead sexy in the Forties-set noir thriller The Black Dahlia.

“I think it’s hard to have any kind of perspective on the image that builds up around you,” she says. “It’s funny because I live a quiet life. I do. I turn up for a premiere or a charity event, and then I have my life. And, really, it’s a relatively normal life.”

Johansson has been in the spotlight since she was a teenager. She was born in New York and has a twin brother and an older sister and brother. Her mother, Melanie, is a film and TV producer, and her father, Karsten, a Danish-born architect. Johansson loved acting and singing as a child, and from school plays graduated to TV appearances and minor film roles. Her breakthrough came with The Horse Whisperer, playing an awkward young girl traumatised by a riding accident. Directed by Robert Redford, it announced her as a talented actress with huge potential. But even though she earned good reviews, not even Johansson herself could have predicted the meteoric rise that would follow. She looks back on that performance with a mix of fascination for her younger self and pride.

“That feels like an age ago, and yet it’s also fresh in my mind,” she says. “I was 12 when I made the film and 14 when it was released. It feels like for ever. I’ve spoken to other artists about this and there’s a purity, an ease, an innocence that comes with earlier performances. And although you learn from experience and you grow, there’s something that you never really get back.”

This is a little harsh. Although Johansson was indeed remarkably natural in The Horse Whisperer – and excellent as a 17-year-old in the much darker Ghost World – she has made the difficult transition from child to adult actor with ease. Her best performances have come opposite heavyweight players, too. She matched Bill Murray – no mean feat – in Lost in Translation, in which she played the new wife of a musician stranded alone in a Tokyo hotel, who strikes up an unlikely bond with a middle-aged actor in town to do a commercial. Directed by Sofia Coppola, Johansson was thoroughly charming and won herself a Bafta for Best Actress in the process.

She earned another Bafta nomination for Girl With a Pearl Earring, and even when the films she’s appeared in have been duds (The Island, with Ewan McGregor) or average (The Nanny Diaries), Johansson is usually worth the price of a ticket. “I’ve been fortunate,” she says. “I’ve worked in a lot of really great productions.”

Now the aim is to ensure career longevity. It may seem a long way off, but, in one sense, she is anxious to leave her twenties – and that sex-symbol baggage – behind and get on with it. “I look forward to growing in the industry and ageing in the industry. A lot of actresses take their meatiest roles in their thirties and forties. And I’m looking forward to that. I’m at a little bit of a funny age where I get that ‘sexiest woman’ thing, and it feels like a label for right now. But maybe when I get older, it won’t be like that.”

Not that she’s complaining. Mostly, she seems rather bemused by the fuss that surrounds her. There are stories of a feud with Lindsay Lohan and songs written in her honour by a pop star (Katy Perry’s I Kissed a Girl) she has never met; there’s gossip – flatly denied – of a passionate encounter with Benicio del Toro in an elevator, and one fan bidding $40,000 on eBay to attend a party at her side. “It’s part of the whole media circus,” she says of the relentless tittle-tattle. “But why me and not somebody else? I guess it has something to do with the fact that I’m confident and speak my mind, so I guess I’m labelled in some way or another.”

She claims that an article in Cosmopolitan about her private life contains quotes that were fabricated. Her complaint is being investigated as we go to press. The Lohan “story” is another good example, she feels. Lohan apparently scrawled “Scarlett is a c***” on the wall in the bathroom of a New York nightclub. Quite why is a mystery to Johansson. “The first I heard about it was when a journalist mentioned it to me,” she says. “I’ve only met Lindsay Lohan a couple of times. But you know, as soon as you mention her name, the media loves it. They like to be able to say, ‘Scarlett answers back!’ I just thought that it was a little tacky and it makes me seem like I’m holding some kind of grudge, which is just nonsense.”

She likes to keep her private life to herself. A few months ago, she married Canadian actor Ryan Reynolds in a “quiet ceremony” near Vancouver after dating him for 19 months. They pulled off the remarkable coup of keeping the event secret until it was all over. “Being married is lovely, thank you,” she says, clearly on guard. “I feel like I’m in a good place. I’ve grown up. Everything seems to be going in the right direction.” Does being married make her feel more secure? “Maybe. That’s something I think you need a little perspective on. But it’s nice when you go out in the world to know that you are married. It’s kind of liberating.”

The work, she stresses, is still a huge part of her life. She can pick and choose from the best scripts on offer for the young Hollywood A-list, on which she occupies, arguably, top spot. This year, she even found the time to record an album, Anywhere I Lay My Head, which features her take on ten Tom Waits songs. When an actor dabbles in music, the result is usually an embarrassment; not so with Johansson. “Sexy, intoxicating and haunting,” gushed one critic, while another suggested that if she were an unknown, we would all be hailing a major new talent. Her singing voice is a sexy, late-night rasp that suits Waits perfectly. “I grew up listening to Tom Waits. Yeah, I would do more music. I would always hope to be able to explore different things. I love film, but I also love music and fine art and fashion. You never know, I might be the next Philippe Starck…”

She has worked with Woody Allen three times: on Scoop, Match Point and, now, Vicky Cristina Barcelona. The latter is viewed as the director’s best film for years – it received glowing reviews and a standing ovation when it premiered at Cannes. It’s smart, funny and very sexy: Johansson plays a young American, Cristina, who, along with her friend Vicky (portrayed by the excellent Rebecca Hall, daughter of Sir Peter Hall), spends a summer in Barcelona, where they meet and are wooed by a bohemian artist, Juan Antonio (Javier Bardem). Allen is on familiar territory – exploring the complexities of relationships – but it feels fresh and contemporary.

She is, understandably, delighted with the finished film. “I’m always surprised when I see a movie I did with Woody because we never get to see anything when we are making it; the monitor, the dailies, nothing. So you have no idea what the movie looks like or whether it’s going to make any sense. You are working scene to scene, and everything is out of order and you have no real sense of the story as a whole. So yes, I was very pleasantly surprised.”

Allen is clearly besotted, at least professionally, with Johansson, and admits that he’s written several screenplays with her in mind. “Every now and then, I find an actress with the kind of gift that inspires me to create parts,” says Allen. “Scarlett’s very smart, sexy, very gifted and with a big range. And she’s lightning fast with her sense of humour.” Praise indeed. You do wonder, though, whether it’s just a little embarrassing being Woody’s muse? “Um, yeah,” she laughs. “We both kind of cringe when we hear that word used. It’s like I suddenly appeared in his life looking for a story and a plotline: ‘Scarlett! Here she is.’ I think I fit into the young-woman category in his mind, and I feel, of course, I’m replaceable. But I love working with Woody because we get along so well, it’s always fun and interesting and what actor wouldn’t want to have that dialogue?”

The Spirit couldn’t be more of a contrast to a Woody Allen movie. “But that’s the point, right? To try different things. And I really wanted to work with that man [Frank Miller]. He’s a genius.” Miller, the comic-book writer and artist who turned to directing with an acclaimed adaptation of his own Sin City, has now brought Will Eisner’s The Spirit to the screen. Starring alongside Samuel L. Jackson and Eva Mendes, Johansson is the gloriously named Silken Floss, which sounds like an upmarket dental treatment. “It’s a great name,” she agrees. “Silken Floss. It just rolls off the tongue.”

Doubtless, the teen boys will love it. “Oh, and the girls and the older guys and women, too,” she protests. Maybe so. But for Scarlett Johansson, it’s just one step nearer to the time when everyone stops referring to her as a sex symbol. “I feel like I’ve done a lot of different kinds of work, and it would be such a waste, I think, if I could only be a sexy sidekick or something. I would have to open up a store somewhere and quit the business,” she says.

This is followed by a low, throaty laugh. Ms Johansson is joking, of course. After all, you have to have a sense of humour about this sex symbol stuff.

A British couple convicted of having sex on a Dubai beach
had their prison sentences suspended by an appeals court on Tuesday
in a case that exposed a cultural divide in this glitzy Gulf boomtown.

Michelle Palmer and Vince Acors were convicted and sentenced
to three months in prison in October for having sex outside of marriage,
public indecency and drunkenness.

The Dubai Court of Appeals upheld the guilty verdict but dropped their
prison sentences — though it ruled the couple must still be deported
from the United Arab Emirates and pay a fine of about $272 each.

"This is a good result," said Hassan Matter, the couple's Dubai-based lawyer.
"This means the law in Dubai is just and shows the judge
has a good mind and a good heart."

The two Britons, who are both in their 30s, met at an all-you-can-drink
champagne brunch before they were arrested in July.
Both previously admitted they were drunk but denied having sex.

The case revealed a fault line between Dubai's expatriate majority
and the city's conservative Arab, Muslim minority.
Public displays of affection are illegal in Dubai — a city that has worked hard
to cultivate an image as a party hot spot for Western tourists and businesses
in the Middle East but has a conservative legal code based
on Islamic laws and tribal rules.

The couple's trial prompted at least one Dubai five-star hotel chain
to issue an advisory for Western tourists on appropriate behavior.
The Jumeirah Group cautioned guests at the Medinat Jumeirah hotel that
"drunken behavior, especially outside licensed premises in the hotel, is punished severely."
It also recommended tourists be discreet with displays of affection in public.

"Anything more than a peck on the cheek could offend those around you
and even possibly lead to police involvement," the advisory said.

has staged another audacious prank - disrupting a scene being filmed
for the television drama Medium.

The British comedian and filmmaker managed to gain access to the set
of the NBC show about a psychic played by Patricia Arquette
and get into the jury box of a tense court scene.
His repeated interruptions led to filming being halted as security staff
were brought in to remove him from the set.
It was only afterwards that people present realised the gatecrasher's identity,
according to Entertainment Weekly, which first reported the incident.

"No one had a clue it was Sacha playing Bruno,"
one insider told the magazine.
"It's amazing he was able to infiltrate the set and pull this off."

It remained unclear how the Borat star managed to get access
to the set or whether he was secretly filming footage for his new film
based on the character of Bruno, a gay Austrian fashion show presenter
who first appeared on Cohen's breakthrough television series Da Ali G Show.

The scene from Medium had to be re-shot, Entertainment Weekly reported.

The actor and comedian has staged several recent stunts dressed as Bruno,
presumably for use in the forthcoming film, a follow-up to 2006's Borat
being shot in a similar documentary-style.
Just before the election, Cohen dressed as Bruno to gate-crash a Los Angeles rally
in support of Proposition 8, the measure to ban gay marriage approved by Californians this month.
Earlier in the autumn he was ejected from a number of catwalk shows
in Paris, Madrid and Milan.

The extensive research shows that workplace romance is thriving with one in four people
having sex with a work colleague, increasing to one in three among those
who are currently in full-time work.

The Observer Sex Poll 2008 in the UK reports that men in Britain are more likely
than women to have had sex with a colleague (29 per cent and 23 per cent respectively),
and they are also twice as likely to have had sex in their place of work.

The research also showed that 31 per cent of Britons would at least consider selling
their sexual services for money, and 17 per cent would sleep with someone
if they felt it would further their career.

Among those who are currently working full time, the sex poll states that 22 per cent
would have sex to further their career.
This decreases with age with younger employees far more likely to consider furthering their career
by having sex (29 per cent of 16-24-year-olds).

The research also found that among those who have previously slept with a work colleague,
35 per cent say they would have sex to further their career, suggesting there may have been
an ulterior motive to some of these sexual encounters.

Other interesting parts of the survey, perhaps particular to the UK, 27 per cent of British men
have either visited a prostitute or would consider doing so in the future and nearly one in three Britons
would either "definitely" sell their sexual services or "consider" doing so if the amount on offer was large enough.

The report was based on a survey of 1,044 UK adults aged 16 and over
who were interviewed by ICM Research in September 2008.

Lindsay Lohan sued over "scary" car chase

A wild ride that led to Lindsay Lohan's arrest has sparked another lawsuit.

Court records show that three men who claim they were in a sport utility vehicle
that Lohan commandeered in July 2007 sued the "Mean Girls" star last week.
Their allegations include battery, false imprisonment and that the actress was negligent
when she allegedly took over an SUV belonging to one of the men
to chase her recently fired assistant.

That chase ended when the assistant's mother called police because she was being followed
and led Lohan toward a police station. Officers suspected Lohan was drunk and arrested her.

Lohan eventually pleaded guilty to two counts of being under the influence of cocaine stemming
from the Santa Monica arrest and an earlier drunken driving arrest in Beverly Hills.
She served 84 minutes in jail and entered rehab.

Lohan's attorney, Ed McPherson, called the lawsuit "absurd."

He claimed the men were having fun during the chase and questioned why they waited
more than a year to file suit.
"It just doesn't make sense," McPherson said.
"They had ample opportunity to get out of the car.
"It's three guys who want to get a lot of headlines," he said,
"and want to make some money."

An attorney for the men, identified as Ronnie Blake, Jakon Sutter and Dante Nigro,
had said last year he hoped to avoid filing a lawsuit against Lohan. McPherson said
there were some early talks, but no settlement was reached.

The case will be heard in Santa Monica, where Lohan is also being sued for emotional distress
by a woman was in the car that was being chased by the actress.
The lawsuit, which seeks more than $25,000 in damages,
was first reported by celebrity gossip Web site.
